MCO 2.0: Full-list of road closures & roadblocks in Selangor & KL to look out for

With the MCO 2.0 is in full-force, especially in the Klang Valley area, roadblocks and road closures are already expected. According to Harian Metro, there will be a total of 120 roadblocks in Selangor itself. For those who still working in essential services and have to travel to work, take note of possible congestion of traffic at these roads.

List Of Roadblocks & Road Closures In Selangor & KL

Road Closures:

  1. Hulu Selangor 
  • Border Bridge at Tanjung Malim-Hulu Bernam
  • KM31.5 Jalan Kuala Lumpur-Ipoh, border of Hulu Selangor-Rawang
  • KM13 Jalan Sungai Tua-Ulu Yam, border of Selangor-Selayang
  • Jalan Koskan-Kuala Garing

2. Kajang 

  • Balai Polis Beranang
  • Jalan Broga

3. Klang 

  • Jalan Mesaeddin (Jalan Batu Tiga Lama)
  • Jambatan Raja Nala (Jalan Tanjung Syawal)
  • KM3.5 Jalan Shapadu Lama
  • KM Jalan Shapadu Lama-Rantau Panjang

 

 

Road Blocks:

  1. Petaling Jaya/ Damansara
  • Jalan Persiaran Mahagoni
  • Jalan Persiara Jati
  • Jalan Persiaran Sungai Buloh
  • Jalan 4/56, Gasing Indah
  • PJU 8/1 (Traffic light at the intersection)
  • Damansara Perdana
  • Exit of Lebuh Raya Damansara Perdana
  • Plaza Tol Damansara to Bayu Puteri

2. Hulu Selangor

  • M79 Jalan Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur, near to Dusun Bay
  • Plaza Tol Tanjung Malim (Both Directions)
  • Plaza Tol Lembah Beringin (Both Directions)
  • Plaza Tol Bukit Tagar (Both Directions)
  • KM60 Jalan Kuala Kubu Bharu to Bukit Fraser (In front of Taman Selesa)
  • Gohtong Jaya to Batang Kali (In front of Genting checkpoint, both directions)
  • KM34 Jalan Kuala Lumput to Ipoh (Serendah), In front of Balai Polis Serendah
  • Plaza Tol Sungai Buaya (Both Directions)

3. Kajang

  • Plaza Tol Eco Majestic
  • Plaza Tol Bandar Seri Putra exit
  • Plaza Tol Bangi exit
  • Plaza Tol Kajang exit
  • Lebuh Raya Besraya, near to Minlon
  • Jalan Genting Peras
  • Jalan Bangi-Nilai

4. Ampang Jaya 

  • Road heading towards Apartment Desa 288
  • Jalan Pandan Indah to Cheras (from Lebuh Raya Sungai Besi, heading towards Ampang)
  • Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2 (MRR2), Near to Petronas Klang Gates (heading towards Ampang from Gombak)

5. Gombak 

  • Gombak Tol Plaza (both directions)
  • Rawang Tol Plaza (directions from Sungai Buloh and Rawang)
  • Jalan Desa Aman Puri, Desa Jaya
  • Jalan Lama Gombak to Genting Sempah, near to Simpang Kuari
  • Jalan Rawang heading towards Sg Choh (KM30)

6. Klang 

  • New North Klang Straits Bypass (in front of AEON Bukit Raja Shopping Mall)
  • Bukit Raja Toll Plaza (heading towards Shah Alam from Klang)
  • Batu 10 Jalan Kapar (heading towards Klang from Kuala Selangor)

7. Serdang 

  • Bukit Jalil Highway at Bandar Kinrara 5
  • Jalan Puchong heading towards Jalan Klang Lama (in front of Telekom Taman Tenaga)
  • Jalan Putra Permai
  • Section 8, Jalan Serdang Jaya

Kuala Lumpur (As of 13th Jan)

  • Jalan Loke Yew: Viva Homes – Tun H S Lee police station
  • Jalan Kuching: Segambut roundabout – Jalan Sultan Ismail
  • Jalan Semantan: Jalan Maarof – Semantan MRT Station
  • MRR2: Klang Gates – Taman Melawati
  • KESAS: Bukit Tinggi – Jalan Kebun Interchange

As the MCO 2.0 is in full swing, let’s all just stay home and travel out only for daily necessities. Meanwhile, if you really do need to travel for work or family emergencies, you can download the forms to apply for inter-district or interstate travel.
