KUALA LUMPUR – National Under-23 striker Hadi Fayyadh Abdul is unveiled as one of 10 new signings by Japanese J3 League side Azul Claro Numazu today.
Hadi, who is on loan from Fagiano Okayama, was presented in his new No 27 jersey during a team presentation ceremony at the Azul Claro Training Centre in Shizuoka.
Hadi, who previously donned the No 28 jersey at Fagiano Okayama, said he is looking forward to representing Azul Clara Numazu.
“I will do my best for the team to show how much I appreciate the opportunity given to me,” said Hadi.
“I cannot wait to start playing for them and I hope that I will have a good season this year. Hopefully I will get more (playing) minutes here.
“I chose the No 27 jersey after some advice from Mr (Hiroshi) Hamada. He said I should take this number as a symbol that I have taken one step forward since last year.”
Hiroshi, who is Yakult Malaysia managing director, has played a key role in bringing Hadi to Japan.
The decision to loan Hadi to Azul Claro Numazu was made after discussion between Yakult Malaysia, Fagiano Okayama and Hadi.
