KUALA LUMPUR: Mesiniaga Bhd has bagged an RM49.33 million contract from Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd (MBNS) to supply and commission the internet service provider’s core infrastructure.
In an exchange filing today, the information and communications technology solutions provider and integrator accepted the contract and signed the agreement with MBNS on October 1.
Mesiniaga said the contract duration is from September 30, 2021, to February 28, 2027, and no clause is mentioned in the contract on automatic renewal.
“The risks relate mainly to meeting the terms of the service level commitments and deadlines imposed by the customer. The company has taken the necessary steps to mitigate the risks.”
Mesiniaga said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the company’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending December 31, 2021, until the contract’s expiry.
In a separate statement today, the company had also, on October 1, accepted the contract and signed the agreement with MBNS for the supply of RGW and MESH Wi-Fi Routers.
The minimum contract value of the project is RM4.06 million, with the maximum contract value of RM114.84 million, subject to purchase orders to be issued by the customer.
“The contract duration is from September 30, 2021, to September 29 2026. There is no clause in the contract on automatic renewal.”
