Airport Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, which saves time for its passengers, is preparing to introduce a new project to its guests in the New Year. With the E-Commerce Project Called Shop @ Saw, Passengers will be able to Pre-Purchase the Product they want from the Stores in the Terminal, whether they are on the way to the Airport or at the Airport.
Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, the airport that saves time for its passengers, is preparing to say hello to 2021 with a new project. Istanbul’s thriving city airport, OHS, in which Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) owns 100 percent of its shares, has taken steps to save time for its passengers in the terminal with digital transformation projects it has been implementing consecutively since 2014.
Wishing to take a step in this direction in 2021, OHS has developed a new project called shop @ saw to save pre-flight time for guests who want to shop in the terminal. Accordingly, guests traveling from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, whether they are on the way to the terminal or in the terminal, will enjoy online shopping by ordering the products they want via the shop @ saw website.
It is possible to find dozens of products from food to souvenirs on the Shop @ Saw website. The only thing guests have to do is to add the product they choose to the shopping cart after logging into the website, and then complete the shopping by paying. Guests will be able to receive the products they buy from the store points of the relevant brand in the terminal.
On the other hand, anyone who purchases 75 TL or more from the website due to the launch of the project will have the chance to receive a 50% discount for the fee they will pay at the airport parking lot. Also, within the framework of the launch, everyone who shopped 75 TL or more will have the chance to have their vehicles cleaned for 40 TL instead of 29 TL in the car wash area in the parking garage. Both campaigns will continue until February 2, 14.
Commenting on the new project, Malaysia Airports Group CEO Dato ‘Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh commented: “As one of the world’s five largest airport operator groups, of course, we want Sabiha Gökçen and all our other airports to be ready for the future.
The e-commerce platform that we will present at Sabiha Gökçen Airport is a part of our larger-scale “Airports 4.0” plan, where we use technology and digital developments to improve the passenger experience as a group.
We must make sure we stay agile and up to date as we go through an era where consumers are changing rapidly. For this reason, launching our shop @ saw e-commerce platform represents an important step in our digitalization journey. ”
Salleh continued: “As the aviation industry continues to recover, our new platform will also provide an opportunity for the airport stores to reach customers beyond their physical spaces.
While offering easy access to passengers, we also increase efficiency in purchasing their products before the flight, and support the recovery of businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. “
