Located at The Stories of Taman Tunku, Bukit Tunku, to those that are familiar with this area will know that it’s home to various restaurants and cafes, and Princeps has found theirs too. Surrounded by beautiful greenery and natural light, you’ll have a choice from enjoying your meals on the patio or with the sleek interiors indoors. With a bistro-style idea in mind, the menu consists of vibrant yet delicious components from the breakfast, appetizers and mains. We have our eye on the Duck Rillettes and Cheese Gnocchi.

2. Iron Tongue

Iron Tongue is a hidden gem in Segambut that offers a tasty range of comfort food to enjoy and a nice cuppa to choose from. Search the cafe up on Instagram and you’ll see artsy images of their customers taking photos at every spot you can imagine – the spiral staircase is a hit. While their breakfast spreads of pancakes, avocado wraps and toasts do look great, options of hearty pasta meals and sandwiches are also available. Who wouldn’t want to pass a photo-op at an elegant space like this?

3. Quack and Cluck

China town has become a hit for every explorer in KL when it comes to enjoying a day in the city. With Quack and Cluck joining the list of must-visit places, you’re going to love what the restaurant has to offer with a twist. Upon arriving, it’s hard not to miss the building when you’re greeted by a bright blue and red painted building with artwork of female figures painted on the walls. With a blend of Chinese and British culture combined, you’ll find your breakfast sets served with mouth-watering minced pork, bing flatbread, eggs and wait for it, tattie scones. Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it?

4. S’lasih Padang & Asian Cuisine

If you’re a fan of Padang food, then you need to head over to S’lasih’s latest outlet in Bangsar Shopping Centre for the rich flavours of the cuisine. Choose from a selection of different dishes of telur balado, ayam pop, dendeng, gulai kikil and more to accompany with your rice – not forgetting the krupuk on the side too. If you can handle a round of fiery kick with an assortment of sambal, then this is the right place to bring your friends and family over to enjoy.

5. Three Plates Full

Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, Three Plates Full is the latest spot to join the neighbourhood in SS15, and trust us, you’re going to love the feel of the space. This three-storey lot is serving hearty food including pasta, steak, breakfast food, along with your favourite go-to for western comfort meals. We can’t take our eyes off the restaurant’s atmosphere that takes us back to a modern diner feel, with its atrium-like corridors and picturesque ambience.

7. Butty Boy Cooks
