KUALA LUMPUR: Individuals who have completed their Covid-19 vaccination abroad are told to report it to the nearest district health office.
This is part of the process for them to obtain a digital certificate on their MySejahtera application, said the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV) on Twitter.
The respective individuals have to provide proof of vaccination, whether double or single dose, received outside the country to the district health office nearest to their homes here.
The proof of vaccination is either a vaccination card or certificate issued by the country where they received their vaccines.
The district health office will then verify and submit the information to MySejahtera through the state health department to issue a local vaccination certificate.
In a separate tweet, JKJAV revealed that the daily vaccination rate has declined from 300,501 doses a day to about 289,958 yesterday.
Yesterday’s vaccination involved 136,177 first dose recipients and 153,841 second dose recipients under the country’s Covid-19 National Immunisation programme (NIP).
Adults who have completed their vaccination rose to 68 per cent or 15,926,601 individuals while 87.8 per cent or 20,543,016 individuals have received one dose.
