PUTRAJAYA: A sum of RM10mil will be given to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) for national football development, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Prime Minister announced this at the ground-breaking ceremony for FAM’s new headquarters in Precinct 5, here, on Monday (Jan 17).
In his speech, Ismail Sabri said football development should be a national agenda and not just the responsibility of FAM.
“The construction of a new headquarters for FAM is expected to be a source of strength that will help it produce a team of international standards,” he said.
