Another day of being befuddled over some of the weirdest and most ridiculous fashion.
AMBUSH, an innovative jewellery-making brand based in Japan is selling some really questionable fashion items for a ridiculously high price.
This AMBUSH Nobo Clip Earring, that looks very similar to our household hanger clipper is priced at $457, which is approximately RM1844 per piece!
The earring is said to be inspired by androgynous, streetwear designs and comes in the colour neon green.
Besides, there is also another neon orange AMBUSH Nobo Clip Earring that costs $475 (approximately RM1917). At the time of writing, this particular colour only has one item left.
The products are one size fits all and suitable for both male and female. So if you want to catch everyone’s attention and have some extra pennies to spend, you probably would want to get one of these earrings (or DIY with paints and a hanger clipper)!
If this Nobo Clip Earring is not bizarre enough, AMBUSH also introduces the Zip Tie Bracelet that looks exactly like the cable tie you get from supermarkets.
The AMBUSH Zip Tie Bracelet is composed of brass and has an adjustable sliding closure. There are many colours available and the price ranges from $437 (RM1763) to $702 (RM2833).
According to Farfetch, a Bristish-Portugese online luxury fashion retail platform, the brand AMBUSH is actually coined by the Business of Fashion as “Tokyo’s premiere style icons”.
Fashion is art, and art is subjective. So while some see these fashion items as “weird” or “ridiculous”, others may find them really valuable and exquisite!
