KUALA LUMPUR: About 97 per cent of the adult population in Selangor and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba today shared an infographic from the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV).
The infographic revealed that 97.8 per cent of the adult population here and in Selangor received their first jab.
He also revealed that 41.3 per cent of the adult population in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur have received both doses of the vaccine so far.
The infographic compared the cumulative number of vaccines administered by states.
Ranking below Selangor/Kuala Lumpur is Labuan, which has the second highest percentage of adults being vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine (95.3 per cent).
However, Labuan has the highest percentage of adults receiving both doses as compared to all other states (82.3 per cent).
